Proverbs 25:2 It is the glory of God to conceal things, but the glory of kings is to search things out.
My son Joshua loves to play hide and seek because of the thrill of hiding from me as his dad and then reversing the role and experiencing the thrill of seeking me out. I’ve discovered God loves to play hide and seek as well with us. God doesn’t hide his word from us but he often hides his word for us to seek out. God conceals truth from us, not to punish us but to awaken our hunger and appetite for him. God hides his word from the proud and reveals it people who are hungry and humble. We often want God to reveal his blueprint for our lives on a silver platter but only babies need to be spoonfed. Maturity takes responsibility to feed ones self. God has answers to your questions and solutions to your problems but it will require you to search it out. Time to play hide and seek.
